Dr. Thomas Randle has been the superintendent of Lamar CISD since July 2001. Active in civic, community and professional organizations, he serves on numerous Boards, including Texas Association of School Administrators, Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Texas Academic Decathlon and the Texas Business and Education Coalition. He was selected for the Commissioner’s Cabinet of Superintendents, participant in the Public Education Visioning Institute, the Policy Committee on Public Education Information, an advisor for the Recommended High School Plan with the Texas Education Agency and appointed by the Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House to the Select Committee on Public School Accountability.
